The Taste of Harvest 2025: The grand finale

The much-anticipated Grand Finale of the Taste of Harvest competition has successfully concluded, delivering precise and verified results.

Five outstanding Arabica and Robusta coffee samples emerged as champions, meeting the stringent assessment criteria established by the Specialty Coffee Association of America. These criteria focused on aroma, flavor, acidity, sweetness, and smoothness which shows the exceptional quality of Cameroon’s coffee.

The evaluation process took place at the National Cocoa and Coffee Board (NCCB) Central Laboratory in Akwa, where certified judges from the NCCB ensured the highest standards of assessment.

The official results will be published by the African Fine Coffees Association (AFCA) in the days ahead. 

These winners will compete alongside samples from all member countries that make up AFCA on February 22, 2025 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
