Organizing Committee Holds First Preparatory Meeting ahead of Cameroon's Hosting of the 111th Ordinary Session of ICCO
Yaoundé, Cameroon –
A concertation meeting to strategize on Cameroon’s hosting of the 111th ordinary session of the International Cocoa Organization (ICCO) took place on Monday, January 27 in Yaounde.
The meeting that brought together members of the organizing committee was presided over by Mr. Michael Ndoping, General Manager of the National Cocoa and Coffee Board (NCCB) who also doubles as President of the organizing committee.
Also in attendance were, the Executive Director of ICCO, Michel Arrion, representatives from the Ministry of Trade (MINCOMMERCE), the National Cocoa and Coffee Office (ONCC), the Cocoa and Coffee Interprofessional Council (CICC) and Cocoa Development Corporation(SODECAO).
Discussions focused on logistical arrangements, event outline, and the coordination of the various committees involved in ensuring the event’s success.
