The women of NCCB celebrate The 2023 International Women’s Day

For the 38th International Women's Rights Day, the National Office of Cocoa and Coffee (NCCB) went all out.

On March 08, 2023, the top management of the NCCB led by the General Manager honored the ladies by organizing a memorable reception at the Akwa office courtyard. 

After an exciting march past in the Besseke in the economic capital of Cameroon - Douala, the ladies assembled at the venue for an afternoon of fun and excess. Food, drinks, and coffee of course were on the menu to celebrate the day.

Referring to this year's theme, which was "Towards an Inclusive Digital World: Innovation and Technology for Gender Equality", the General Manager congratulated his female colleagues for their dynamism and their contribution to the performance of the NCCB, and encouraged them to continue in the same light. 

In response to the requests made by the Staff Delegate during her speech, he acknowledged and committed to make efforts in the areas of digitalization and training of female staff in new technologies.

After the speeches, the women showcased their talent and their beautiful outfits during a fashion show, at the end of which the top three winners were awarded prizes. The ladies also showcased their talent with the Women ’s Day Anthem and a beautiful dance which showcased a fusion of all the regions of Cameroon. Then the guests were entertained by guest artists who performed musical and dance interludes. 

After all the speeches, staff performances and guest interludes, the dance floor was opened and we partied till it got dark.

This was definitely a day well celebrated and commemorated by the National Cocoa and Coffee Board of Cameroon (NCCB).
