Board Members on a working visit

The Chairman of the Board of Directors H.E AYANG Luc accompanied by members of the Board of Directors, on Tuesday 20 December 2022 paid a working visit to NCCB.

The visit took place in the wake of the 46th session of the Board of Director’s meeting that held on December 19, 2022 at SAWA hotel in Douala.

The objective of the visit was to obtain a hands-on appreciation of the state of the on-going refurbishment of the NCCB ultra-modern Central Laboratory in conformity with the standards of ISO/IEC 17025, and to appraise the general working conditions of NCCB staff.

Welcoming them at the premises of the Laboratory, Mr. Michael NDOPING, General Manager of NCCB accompanied by Mr Elie Bertrand MUTNGI, Director of Quality and Sustainability explained the processes and activities carried out by the laboratory in assuring the quality of Cameroon cocoa and coffee bound for domestic and foreign markets.

The team also made a stop at the NCCB Coffee House ; one of the many coffee consumption points created and supervised by ONCC. While explaining to them the on-going efforts taken by NCCB to boost local consumption, the visitors were served an assortment of coffee and chocolate based-drinks. 

The team also visited the Head Office of NCCB and held talks with the General Manager and his team on a range of issues, such as the overall working conditions of personnel, and the main challenges. 

At the end of the visit, Mr. NDOPING thanked the members of the Board for their unrelentless support in helping NCCB to attain its mission.  

The Board chairman was accompanied by Mr. Christophe FOE NDI, Representative of the Presidency of the Republic, Mr. David DAYANG WAMBA, Representative of Prime Minister’s Office, and Mr IYA MOHAMAN Bello, NCCB Staff Representative.
